What is the Taste Of Fountain Valley?
The Taste Of Fountain Valley is the annual Fundraising event showcasing some of the best culinary talents and flavors in and about the Fountain Valley vicinity. It also features the region’s wineries and breweries. For one entry price, attendees can enjoy unlimited samples from some of the area’s finest establishments. All proceeds go to support the Fountain Valley Schools Foundation. The Taste of Fountain Valley is run by the Fountain Valley Schools Foundation, a non-profit organization 501c3 – Tax ID. #95-3794172
When is the Taste Of Fountain Valley?
The Taste is the third Saturday of April every year. The next Taste is Saturday, April 21, 2018.
How many food exhibitors are in the Taste?
The Taste showcases 30+ restaurants, catering companies and other food exhibitors, most of them locally owned and operated. These eateries bring samples of their most tempting products – tantalizing guests to patronize these establishments in the future. The Taste also features California wineries and breweries that serve alcoholic beverages to those 21 and over. Water and nonalcoholic beverages are available at the Taste.
How can I purchase tickets for the Taste Of Fountain Valley?
Online ticket purchase is now closed. Tickets will be available at the door.
Are there any other costs besides the admission fee?
Your one single, all-inclusive ticket price is all you pay for food. There is no per-sample fee. Beverages such as beer, wine, soda and water are available at an additional cost.
What about childcare?
Childcare can be purchased for $15 a child. Childcare will be provided by Los Cab.
I want my business to participate in the Taste, What do I do?
The Taste Committee invites all businesses to partner with us as you find new customers while supporting the Fountain Valley Schools Foundation. Do you need volunteers for the Taste to help raise money for the Fountain Valley Schools Foundation?
Yes. Volunteers are also needed to work the day of the Taste – and to help market the event, coordinate the day’s activities, solicit donations, assist with infrastructure set up and work with our participating partners. Many of these jobs are needed throughout the year as well as the day of the Taste – volunteering your time and talents would be greatly appreciated! No – this year there is only 1 general admission ticket being offered.
What else is happening at the Taste besides eating and drinking?
The Taste features live entertainment, a raffle and a silent auction of goods and services from our local businesses. It’s also a great place to meet friends, network, meet your community, and to people watch!
